Fleet
NORMAN Brothers count with a small support vessel fleet with an experienced crew in activities related to provide support to ocean going vessels, either at anchorage or in any of the terminals and ports, within the range of Rosario, San Lorenzo, Puerto San Martin, Timbues and Santa Fe.
The fleet is in compliance with all industry safety, health and environmental requirements.
“270-B – MULITA”
Support/Crew Change Launch
Multipurpose boat.
Built in 6 mm thick naval steel plates and equipped with a GM main engine. It has an excellent seaworthiness, being able to operate in adverse hydro-meteorological conditions.
This vessel is approved by OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum – www.ocimf.org) and has a current P&I extended by Shipowner Mutual of Luxembourg since 2006, being the only one of its kind in the up-river Parana to have such certification and coverage.

“RADA EXPRESS”
Crew Change Launch
Speedboat for passenger and light cargo transport service.
Built in FRP by the Benavidez Shipyard, it was launched in 2011, being the first boat of its kind to provide services to ocean going vessels in the San Lorenzo and Rosario Port area.
In September 2020, it was re-motorized and equipped with a SUZUKI 225 HP high performance outboard engine, especially for continuous service.

“LUB EXPRESS”
Tanker Barge
Oil tank barge built and developed by the Tecnao Shipyard in 2006.
It was specifically dimensioned to be pushed by any of the company’s small push tugs (270-B or 276-B) and destined by commercial decision of the company exclusively for the transport and transfer lubricants in bulk to ocean going vessels and river tugs.
Having provided services for more that 14 years for to almost all main oil companies, like, BP-CASTROL, PETROBRAS, LUK-OIL, MOBIL, SHELL and GULF OIL MARINE.
It has maximum loading capacity of 96,000 liters, in 6 tanks, each of which has its sole pumping system.
It is approved by OCIMF, OIL COMPANY INTERNATIONAL MARINE FORUM (www.ocimf.org) and has a valid P&I issued by Shipowner Mutual of Luxembourg.
The qualifications include the transport of any liquid with a flash point higher than 60º, including wastewater from washing holds and tanks of ships and barges.

“316 – Canal Gobernador Arana”
Powerful and versatile push tug, ideal for port movements of barges, as well as for medium-distance trips, with a push-tug capacity up to 6,000 tons.
Recently, important functional improvements, among which a new double height cockpit that widens the viewing angle from the command bridge. It is also worth mentioning that it was previously re-powered with two new imported GM engines of 450 HP each.
Equipped with 6 turning rudders that give it excellent maneuverability in restricted spaces and make it the optimal tug for barge port maneuvers.
Located in the San Lorenzo-Puerto San Martín and Timbués area, it also provides services in the main ports of the waterway.
